Traffic Management Plans Built on Experience, Quality & Safety
We develop comprehensive Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) designed to provide a clear, practical, and safe framework for work taking place on or adjacent to roadways. Every plan is prepared with careful attention to traffic flow, worker protection, pedestrian and cyclist accommodation, site access, construction staging, and the specific conditions of each project.
Our TMPs are developed in accordance with applicable municipal requirements, BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit standards, and WorkSafeBC traffic-control requirements. Where engineering review or approval is required, we coordinate the appropriate professional sign-off to help ensure the plan meets project and jurisdictional requirements.
Quality is at the centre of our planning process. We review roadway geometry, work-zone limits, traffic volumes and movements, signage, device placement, access requirements, and potential site-specific hazards before developing a practical traffic-control strategy. Our goal is not simply to produce a drawing—it is to create a plan that crews can safely and effectively implement in the field.
on-site deployment

Our certified traffic control teams provide professional on-site deployment to help keep construction zones organized, efficient, and safe. From initial setup through final removal, we manage the traffic-control operation so your crews can stay focused on the work.
Our services include lane closures, single-lane alternating traffic, flagging operations, detours, traffic shifts, and work-zone setup and removal. We deploy required traffic-control devices, including regulatory and warning signs, cones, delineators, barricades, and arrow board trucks, in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan and site conditions.
Before work begins, our team reviews the site, establishes the required advance-warning area, positions signs and equipment, sets up tapers and work zones, and confirms that traffic can move safely through or around the project. Throughout the operation, our Traffic Control Persons monitor changing conditions and adjust the setup when necessary to maintain safe movement for workers, motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
With practical field experience and a strong focus on WorkSafeBC requirements, quality, communication, and safety, Roaders Traffic Solutions connects the plan on paper with safe, effective execution in the field.
site safety

Safety is the foundation of every Traffic Management Plan and traffic control operation we deliver. We design and support work zones with clear signage, proper traffic-control devices, barriers, channelization, and well-defined traffic movements to help protect workers, motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and construction crews.
Our approach considers the complete work-zone environment—from advance warning signs and transition areas to buffer spaces, lane closures, pedestrian routes, equipment access, and the active work area. Each setup is planned around the specific conditions of the site, with hazards identified and traffic movements carefully considered before work begins.
Roaders Traffic Solutions is committed to following applicable WorkSafeBC requirements, municipal standards, and BC traffic-management guidelines. Our focus extends beyond compliance: we aim to create practical work zones that are easy for road users to understand and straightforward for crews to implement and maintain.
Through careful planning, proper setup, continuous site awareness, and clear communication, we work to ensure safety remains a priority from the first cone placed to the final device removed.
